How are extensions made?

Eyelash extensions are made from PBT, a durable plastic heated to set the curl. The process is precise, ensuring high quality and a natural look.

How are extensions made?

We often marvel at how extremely soft eyelash extensions feel. They sometimes feel like stroking a Persian cat. It has the same stress-relieving effect, and without any risk of cat hair allergies.

Of course, there are no reactions to the eyelash extensions as they are made of PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate), although there may be reactions to other substances during treatment. You can therefore stroke the eyelashes in the tray as often and for as long as you like.

What is PBT?

PBT is a plastic known for its high heat resistance, workability and durable quality. In fact, it is so good that it is used to make toothbrushes, high-end keyboards and swimwear, among other things, because it is chlorine resistant. PBT is very versatile, can be either soft or hard, but remains strong and durable. It is therefore not surprising that it is the best choice for creating flexible and natural looking eyelash extensions.

Please note that we do not recommend replacing extensions with toothbrush bristles.

Shredding keyboards? No.

The fibers of the selected diameter and length are arranged in a row and rolled up on a tube. The fibers then go into an oven at high temperature to fix the curl. Other plastics melt or break under high heat, but PBT fibers retain their shape and appearance when cooled.

Of course, working with only the best materials is not enough. Producing extensions is easy, but also very time-consuming and requires enormous attention to detail. Many steps are required for production. Each process is subject to quality checks to remove wavy or torn extensions. The combination of a fantastic material and high-end technology makes the extensions a great product.

There is a variety of curls, lengths, weights and colors.
